บท 13: Chapter 13

Jennet sat alone at the dining table with a cup of instant spicy noodles that was steaming hot. She had been eating instant foods ever since she made up her mind to buy a house. As she instilled the unhealthy habit, it had become her daily routine and it was hard to part from it as time went by. Sometime, she craved the taste of a proper home-cooked meal. But, since she did not usually cook, she abandoned the thought.

Meanwhile, the translucent tall figure was sitting beside her, cupping his cheeks on the table as he adored her silently. He smiled widely when he watched her eat. But, a scowl appeared on his handsome face when the woman accidentally scalded her tongue.

The blond, glared at the cup, badgering the static thing for an answer. ‘How dare you hurt my wife’s delicate tongue! Who told you to do that?!’

If the cup noodle was a living being, it would have peed itself or fled for its life while screaming in fear. But, it was only a cup of noodle. Nothing more.
