บท 4: What the F***
Their creepy eyes had then lighted up like kids given candy. The one with pinkish hair even clapped his hands in front of himself just to express his delight. While the other one who had brown hair just gave me a wide smile.
"Quickly, now, I don't have all night. I have to catch up with my friends."
"Alright, alright… Um, we actually need our keycard." What? I can't help not to raise an eyebrow at them, do I look like a receptionist to them…? "We kind of lost it while evading some of our fans that spotted us going back here, so…" The guy then sheepishly smiled at me while scratching his head.
I sighed deeply and then responded "How on earth am I supposed to find your keycard? Do you even know where you lost it…?". The guys then childishly swing their head, others may find their childish responses cute but to me, its the complete opposite.
Then the younger one, I think, said to me, "But Manager said that the hotel staff always has a copy in case some guests lose them so we figured that the reception might help us.".
"So, you want me…" I pointed to myself, "To go to the reception and get you a copy of your keycard." The duo then synchronized nodded at me, "It's simple enough but how am I going to convince the reception that I'm helping you and not just a crazy fan trying to get inside your room, eh…? You mentioned your manager, why can't he or she come and get you?".
"Well, it's really a long story Noona plus he is kind of busy, we can't get him to pick us up."
"What? Did you try calling him and told him that this is an emergency…? Or whatever…?" The two clearly looked at me, expressing that they were clearly panicking as of the moment, my continuous defiance and snubbing isn't really helping at all, "Alright, fine, fine, you don't have to answer that… Anyway, do your staff like, have built secret codes with hotels so that they could anonymously walk around or help with something…? A sign or code maybe…?".
"Code… Ah! Hyung!" Oh, I'm right, the pink haired dude is the younger one. He called the brown haired, Hyung who consequently understood what the other one meant, "Yeah, yeah… Um, we heard from Manager yesterday that our agency granted us the word 'bleeding' to hotel staff. That might be it…".
"Bleeding, huh…?" I then commented, "Quite fitting but anyway, alright… I'll give it a try while you two stay here… And be quiet…" I then readied myself for the act but before I go, I borrowed the brown-haired guy's cap and the younger's scarf plus I put on my black face mask.
After clearing the sight, I subtly rushed to the reception. The receptionist had then greeted me with a bright smile on her face, "Greetings Miss, how can I help you?".
"Oh, I, um… Um…" Damn it, my mind is going blank, "[I'm actually in need of help…]" Better go with Nihongo then, "[I'm BLEEDING… The member's need help.]". The receptionist's face had then changed, she indeed knew what I meant.
"[Um, what do they need?]"
"[They lost their keycard and would like to have the copy, please…?]" I then had to whisper at her, "[They're at the fire exit waiting for me.]" Then the receptionist subtly looked at the fire exit and from the small opening, the duo waved and had her blushed a bit, "[O – Okay… Please wait for a moment.]".
"[Thank you.]" I said as she went to their back office and in just a few minutes she came back with a spare keycard. She had it paper bagged so it won't be obvious. I thanked her once again before I casually went back to the fire exit.
"Okay, here you go…" I handed them their keycard, "Alright, I'm done. I should - Whoa!" I couldn't finish what I was saying because the two suddenly hugged me and clearly it surprised me.
"Thank you so much, Noona!"
"Thank you! Thank you!"
These guys became such cute boys, they reminded me of my juniors which also reminded me that I need to go now, I briefly hugged them back and then told them, "Alright, alright, enough hugging. I really need to go now.".
"Of course…" The brown-haired guy released first followed by the younger. "That was awesome, did you like, speak in Japanese…?".
"Oh, um, yeah…" Okay, I admit it, their amused faces were cute, "Ehem, I kind of studied it… Just because of this trip… A - Anyway, I really need to go…".
"Okay, again we thank you for the help, Noona…"
"[Thank you]" Both of them then bowed low towards me and even said thank you in Korean.
"Alright, alright… You boys take care now and remember what I said about your appearance." Both then nodded and waved me goodbye. Also, they were also decent enough to wait until I could go out unnoticed before they went up.
Whew, that was an experience, who would've thought I would help members of the group that is the root of my frustrations lately. I even question myself, anyway it's all in the past now, what I should do is get back with my friends.
"Ah! There she is!" Vince had then exclaimed as I finally caught up with them. I found them at one of the Golden Gai pubs. "Welcome back, come on, drink up.".
"Thanks but I'm quite hungry, can I eat first…?"
"Of course, honey, here…" Ebony had then slided me a meal, "We figured you'd be hungry with all that walking so we left a meal for you."
"Uh, thanky."
"Oh wow Ms. Jeanne," Justin suddenly said to me, "You have the same cap as Dongwu." What?
"Yeah, and JJ's famous pink scarf!" Elise then commented as well. I then blinked a few times and then I remembered that I borrowed them earlier, damn, I forgot to give them back.
"Oh, these…? No, no, no, I kind of borrowed these… From - From my sister… yeah, they're hers…" I said as I took them off and practically shoved them inside my bag, how could I forget to return these!?
My juniors then gave me a look but I smiled at them sheepishly, "Um, could you pass me one, please…?" Elise had then handed me one of the canned beers which I chugged down as I got them because I felt embarrassed at the moment.
"Whoa, slow down, cowgirl!" Vince amusingly said to me, "The night's still young! Let's party slowly, eh…" I just gulfed big and nodded at him, "Cheers to vacation!".
"Cheers!" We then spent the first night of our vacation drinking.
After a few hours, we had decided to go back to our hotel room as we had a day tour coming up. The boys had drunk a bit too much but they're not really that drunk and we still managed to go back on foot. I had a few drinks myself, tipsy but I'm sober.
"Could you guys go on ahead, I really need to relieve myself." Ugh, this damn bladder!
"Oh, sure thing." Ebony said to me as she assisted her boyfriend going up the stairs "We'll meet you at the room then.".
I then nodded and quickly made my way to the nearest restroom. After my business, I was looking forward to sleeping when I noticed my friends at the top of the stairs. What?
Hurriedly, I went up to check things with them, "Hey, what's going on?".
"I'm sorry, dear guests but you're not allowed on this floor." One of the hotel staff had blocked us on the stairs, along with three more behind him.
"What? But this is our floor? We have the keycards -"
"We know… But unfortunately you can't go up until morning."
"WHAT!?"
"Don't worry, your valuables are fine. I'll just escort you to a room below where you could sleep for the night -"
'What!? No! We're sleeping in OUR room!"
"Miss, please, I have my order -"
"And we have your salary!-" I then made a quick pause, what I said was quite rude, "Sorry, sorry, I didn't that... But who the hell even needs the whole floor!?" I apologized but nearly screamed at the staff's face as I remember the main problem.
He somehow hesitated to answer but he did. "The VIPs… requested the whole floor…". VIPs…? Wait… THEM again? Oh no, this is damn too much!
"Miss…? Miss, Miss, MISS!? What are you doing?"
"I'm going to have a WORD with your VIPs." I then broke their line of defense.
"Miss, please… MISS!" I didn't listen to him and just walked towards the group's room like a madman then swung their doors open.
"Out4Blood! I demand a wo… WHAT THE FUCK!?"
