บท 187: The Talking Corpse (1)

He felt very well this morning. He had rested all day with the strictest supervisor in the world. Johan followed him everywhere. Cyril offered to sit next to him in the room at tea time. He also asked him to sit in the empty chair in the library, but the boy nodded with a straight face. 

When night came and Cyril could sleep better than before, he was happy when morning came. 

"You did well, Johan!" Cyril praised his little servant. 

Johan, who had finished dressing Cyril's robe - the last piece of formal uniform his master wore on duty - was surprised. He was stunned for a few seconds, then stared with watery eyes. 

"You're not thinking of getting into trouble again, are you, Master?" Johan's gaze suddenly focused on Cyril. 

"I have never intentionally gotten myself into trouble! Why do you talk like General Adelman and Guren?" Cyril was suddenly annoyed. He remembered the two people who had taught him magic and swordsmanship.
