บท 51: Watermelon

Ji Zhao swallowed nervously. "What… what's wrong?"

"I'm fine." Only then did Shen Yao realize that his actions were too abrupt. He quickly let go. "I just think that your handwriting is very good."

The words "Ji Zhao" were engraved on the sand table. They were bold, beautiful, and elegant.

Meeting his smiling eyes, Ji Zhao suddenly felt her heart skip a beat.

"Dinner is ready!" Zhao Lanhua stuck her head out of the kitchen and shouted loudly.

Ji Zhao quickly responded and pulled Ji Chen to the kitchen to wash his hands.

Shen Yao pursed his lips and smiled. He lowered his eyes and engraved the two words on the sand table in his mind.

In the hot summer, the days were long and the nights short.

Even though the Shen family had already finished their dinner, night had yet to fall.

Ji Zhao held Ji Chen's hand and walked to the temple at the back of the mountain.
