บท 585: 585. Endless

Jael rocked Mauve as he held her in his arms. She had her head on his chest and beads of sweat clustered around her forehead. She didn't look to have any strength as Jael held her closely to himself.

Mauve felt sore both internally and externally. She had just spent the past couple of minutes throwing up everything she had eaten today.

Not the mention having to wash off the ointment not long after Mill had applied it as it made her very itchy.

She had assumed she was getting better but now she just felt sicker than ever. It was a vicious cycle that she couldn't wait to see the end. It was annoying that it felt as though it would never end.

"I feel sick," she mumbled on the verge of tears.

"I know," Jael replied. His voice was heavy. "I truly wish we had been able to figure out what is wrong and treat it accordingly. I hate that you are going through this."
