"Wait, Xanthus?" Mauve yelled suddenly in the middle of her bath, sitting upright.

She had been so shocked by the intrusion that she didn't realize what Louis said until now. "Princess," called out a horrified Maria at Mauve's sudden movement. Mauve could clearly see the fear and horror in her eyes.

"Sorry," she said apologetically and laid back down.

She had moved reflexively. She was sure the poor maid was traumatized while she was left with questions she wondered if she would ever get answers to.

That was definitely the name of Kieran's estate, but she had been so distracted by everything else that she didn't realize it immediately.
