บท 139: 139. D'Arcy

Jael knew exactly why he passed out and was quite surprised that's all that happened. Aside from the fact that he bled, he also put a lot of strain on his body. 

From running to fighting the first Paler, then evading all the attacks of the second Paler with Mauve in his arms and the run here. He couldn't complain that his body felt this heavy.

Jael slowly raised his head to look at Kieran and as if he was being punished, he gulped the contents with a sour expression. After drinking, he tossed the bag to the ground and wiped his mouth.

He would probably still feel this shitty for about a day or two but at least, he wasn't in that much pain. His arm should heal soon.

He was about to get out of bed but Kieran stopped him. "Your feet, Sire. You have tiny thorns in them, let me remove them."

Jael glared at him. "You can remove them after I have seen her."

Kieran shook his head, "It's best to leave her alone. Please, Sire."
