บท 70: THE DEAL 1

Leonard did his job without the slightest glance at me and I was grateful he didn't look at me. A few maids led me to the bathroom. I didn't let them touch me as I took my bath myself. I wasn't royalty, I could take good care of myself.

A line of clothes was already waiting in the closet by the time I got back. I picked a blunt orange blouson slightly above my knees.

I wore closed-toe pumps stilettos high heels with little diamond stones on them. I let my hair down to my waist, applied lipgloss and my body sprayed, not forgetting my jewellery. I walked out of the closet elegantly.

This morning Alex didn't escort me to the dining room, I walked down the grand stairs alone to the dining room. I was anxious about what they might do after everything that happened last night.

Alex had humiliated Grandma before everyone and now he wasn't here to correct the mess he had created. I bit my lower lips.
