"Okay," Denise nodded her head while smiling sweetly at her bestie.

"I messed up last night and I really wanted to say I'm sorry. I was jealous of Anastasia and I shouldn't have allowed my envy to ruin last night's fun. It's just that for the first time in our friendship, I felt insecure. I thought I was going to lose you to your childhood friend who knew you better than I do."

"No..." Denise chuckled shaking her head. "Come on cupcake, we've both come a long way. Nothing in this life can ever separate us except death. You remain my sister from another mother for all eternity."
