บท 378: A Visit To The Robinson Mansion

When Anna was certain that Albert had left, she turned her attention back to Luke and said in a deadpan tone.

"I thought you understood your father better than I do. You should know that he wouldn't tolerate such misbehaviour from you especially after you witnessed what he did to your sister. I just hope you are able to make amend, otherwise, you'll be in serious trouble with him. Also, if you know what's good for you, you better make peace with Riley before facing him."

Luke stared beyond his mum's pretty but frigid stare and replied calmly like a repented sinner.

"Mum, I'm truly sorry for what went down between Riley and me. If it's okay with you, I would love to speak with Riley alone and plead for her forgiveness before she leaves with you."

Anna turned to Riley, whose eyes bore a mixture of disdain and excitement, and pleaded with her to give Luke some listening ears.

"You don't have to beg me, Mrs Robinson, I will gladly do it because of you."
