"Arriving in Trudulsrr City. All passengers can relax!" an animated voice announced in the train's pa systems. Evelyn got up from her chair and prepared to alight. Trudulsrr City was her destination as it held a teleportation devices to off world planets. Due to her power, she would feel that soon enough, she and the other X rank Holder would soon clash and she just knew she would win in the end. Thus, she decided to heed to a newly discovered planet and just live the rest of her immortal life there. Her parents were not happy she was leaving so soon but they couldn't win an argument with her, neither did the people that were giving out visas to the world. Due to its rough and almost no modern civilization, they needed warrior type Holders in order to fully colonize the planet and bring it under the fold of the Human Civilization. But, she knew she was going there because she knew there was no way humans would colonize this planet. It would have become one of the many human hostile planets and thus, a forbidden planet. Just the place for her to lie low.
When the train finally came to a stop, she walked out with the rest of the people, the coordinates to the teleportation device she would use already in her photographic mind. In fact, she had mastered the entire map of the city on the way to the train just for fun. On the way there, she had to stop at a stop sign in order to allow for a battleship to finish dropping school children off. She was secretly amazed by how overprotective humans were of their children. In fact, all schools were designated in the middle of a military base, the school buses were actually military battle ships and they even had two Planet Annihilators to protect them! In turn, the children become militarized and most of the not so bright ones end up in the army!
"Make way!" a mutated Holder roared, holding a plasma canon in full military exo-suits. The pedestrians, including Evelyn, made way for the children to pass. The Holder nodded in satisfaction before signing for an all clear. Then, middle grade school children started streaming out of the battleship talking about how school was boring for the day. They would give the mutated Holder a greeting or smile everytime they walked past him and he would nod in return.
'This is like rearing livestock. Shower them with love so that they can be of service to you,' Evelyn observed. Suddenly, she looked up, her eyesight already reaching a level where she would observe planet light years away like on livestream, spotted a dark scaled giant lizard looking alien hurtling towards the planet, specifically towards this city, this spot.
'Whoa, that is an A class extraterrestrial! I can't sense any S rank Holders in the city,' she said to herself but then calmed down. Why? She had a policy, even of the sky was falling down, she was sure there would be someone else to hold it up. Hans had the X rank Holder so their hope was not lost.
"I have informed your parents to come pick you up. If any of you have not been taken home yet then press the emergency button and we will come pick you up immediately," the mutated Holder said to the alighted children. His wolf like ears twitched a little before his yellow eyes looked to the sky. He had a puzzled face before checking on his military portal. When he did not find what he was looking for, he shrugged and got back inside the ship which roared away to the sky.
'Of course, you can rely on an animal's instincts to sense danger. Too bad you were not too trusting of those instincts,' Evelyn cursed at the man. He had the appearance of a wolf so she knew his exact abilities would resemble a wolf's and his entire physique enhanced. In fact, even a normal human here was several tens of times stronger than the ones at her old world due to the planet's gravity.
"This will be troublesome," she sighed, calculating the point of impact to her exact area and realized with the speed of the lizard, it would create a shockwave strong enough to kill these kids. This put her in a position that if she did not act, it would be considered a dick move.
'I don't wanna have a repeat of those troubling times. But, these are children so I have to protect them,' she sighed in defeat. Secretly, she picked a pebble on the pavement before flicking it towards the lizard with her thumb.
The stone was flicked with such force that it exceeded the speed of light. Space warped around it, carrying it at air igniting speeds before it hit the lizard. The stone was like a hot knife cutting through butter, going through the lizard with such ease it was eery! Due to its speed, three quarters of its body just exploded into nothing, leaving behind a skull, palms and knees down, each taking a different route away from the planet while the stone disappeared into the horizon.
'There, good deed of the day,' Evelyn said to herself, giving herself a mental pat to the back before crossing the highway like road to the other side and continuing with her journey to the teleportation device. Suddenly, an alarm blared all over the city.
"Warning, due to a sudden explosion that destroyer Dostrus, all teleportation has been barred till further notice! Warning, due to a sudden explosion that destroyer Dostrus, all teleportation has been barred till further notice," a female animated voice said. Evelyn frowned when she heard this.
'Dostrus is a bout ninety five quintillion miles away from here. Is this an invasion?' she asked herself before looking up into space or right at Dostrus. The planet was inhabited, mostly a giant gas planet but now, it had a giant hole through it. Calculating, she realized she might have actually be the cause of this and sure enough, she saw the stone she had thrown cruising into space and after calculating its trajectory, found it was the culprit. She realized one thing there and then.
