''Save her, Devile, she was born on the night of the full moon,'' Lucian's words struck Devile like an unexpected lightning. He could literally feel his heart palpitate in his chest. Guilt, confusion, distress and anguish was how he felt at that moment.

Devile withdrew his claws from inside Lucian's body causing Lucian to almost hit the ground before Devile caught him. Devile laid him gently on the ground and applied pressure with his hands on Lucian's bleeding chest.

''Stay with me, Lucian, I am gonna call for help,'' Devile assured and then he searched with one of his hands around his attire looking for his phone. He couldn't find it – he remembered that he wasn't actually with the phone to begin with – it was his wedding day, how was he supposed to have a phone around him when he was going to be at the aisle exchanging wedding vows with his bride.
