The door to the king's bedroom was opened and Mira walked in gracefully. Upon hearing the sound of the door opening, King Desmond turned to look and his eyes widened in surprise as he saw his daughter in the flesh. He never thought that Margaret meant it when she said that the princess was back home but seeing her live and direct inside his bedroom, he couldn't have been more convinced.
His eyes watered as he watched Mira walk up to him. The look on her face was blank and he couldn't tell if she was happy or not but either way, that didn't matter to him. What was more important was that his daughter was alive and back home safely.
"Father," Mira greeted, bowing her head slightly with her hands resting on her stomach.
"Oh Mira!" He stretched out his hand towards her and she placed hers in his. "You are really back! I have missed you so much my child. Please sit. Sit beside your father," he tapped on the bed and she sat near him.
