The cunning William Stryker set a trap within a trap for Wolverine, especially by arranging an undercover agent to get close to him and make him fall in love. Knowing the whole truth left Logan Howlett heartbroken.
With no target for revenge, Wolverine turned and walked away, his silhouette lonely.
Outside the screen, Logan Howlett was also greatly agitated, clenching his teeth, eyes red as he stared at the screen. A surge of rage filled his chest, making him wish he could jump into the screen and tear William Stryker to pieces!
From an observer's perspective, Wolverine increasingly felt like a pitiful clown, played for a fool. But unlike his future self on the screen, he was not as lost and sad. Instead, he clearly saw the culprit behind it all and vowed to eliminate William Stryker.
Erik glanced at him and said in a deep voice, "This bastard is very cunning. He's been stalling for time. The reason he let you go in the video is that the project 11 hasn't finished yet. It's obvious he will continue to hunt you down!"
Magneto saw it more clearly. William Stryker's move, akin to the stratagem of "winning without fighting" in military tactics, effectively neutralized the crisis by discouraging Wolverine.
In the video, Wolverine left the lab despondently. Meanwhile, Silver Fox was negotiating with William Stryker. She had agreed to work for him and act as an undercover agent because Stryker had her sister as a hostage.
Now that everything was over, according to their agreement, William Stryker should release her sister. But this insidious and cunning man had no intention of keeping his promise. Not only did he trick Silver Fox, but even Sabretooth was played by him.
Sabretooth also had an agreement with Stryker. If he followed orders, Stryker promised to inject him with the same adamantium as Wolverine so they could have a fair fight to see who was superior. But now Stryker was breaking his promise.
Adamantium was incredibly precious. Stryker first replaced Wolverine's skeleton but failed to control him, resulting in a significant loss. Then, he created Deadpool with what was left, leaving no resources for Sabretooth.
Infuriated, Sabretooth didn't understand he was being used and instead took his anger out on Silver Fox, grabbing her by the neck and saying viciously, "I'll make sure you die for real this time!"
William Stryker watched coldly as Silver Fox screamed in pain. Wolverine, who had walked away, stopped when he heard his former lover's cries.
Despite his heartbreak and their recent final farewell, Logan Howlett couldn't remain indifferent. After a moment's hesitation, he returned and saved Silver Fox from Sabretooth.
Sabretooth was no longer a match for Wolverine. After defeating him, Wolverine didn't kill him, recognizing Sabretooth's simple-mindedness and that their feud had been due to a misunderstanding. Despite everything, they were still brothers, and Logan couldn't bring himself to kill him.
Silver Fox revealed William Stryker's true nature, explaining her coerced involvement and the threat to her sister. She confessed her love for Logan was genuine despite the deception. Learning this, Wolverine didn't hesitate and agreed to help her save her sister. They freed the captive mutants, forcing Stryker to activate Deadpool.
However, Deadpool's fusion experiment was not yet complete. Despite being nearly finished, Stryker couldn't wait. He needed these mutant captives and couldn't let Wolverine free them.
After freeing the mutants, Logan and Silver Fox encountered the awakened Deadpool. Logan decided to hold off Deadpool while his girlfriend led the other mutants to escape.
A battle ensued. Wolverine unsheathed his adamantium claws, and Deadpool did the same. Although Deadpool's claws were fewer and resembled short swords, he had inherited Wade Wilson's exceptional swordsmanship and Wolverine's regenerative abilities, putting Wolverine at a disadvantage.
Wolverine finally understood his enemies' frustration when facing an opponent with infinite regeneration.
Deadpool's abilities included firing high-energy lasers from his eyes and teleportation. Despite being a patchwork of abilities, he was formidable, earning Stryker's praise as the perfect weapon, a mutant killer.
Controlled by Stryker via computer, Deadpool was ordered to decapitate Wolverine, the only way to ensure his death. But just as Deadpool was about to sever Wolverine's neck, Sabretooth appeared, kicking Deadpool away and saving Wolverine.
Sabretooth wasn't reformed; he arrogantly declared that only he could kill Wolverine. The brothers then fought side by side.
Deadpool, facing the two brothers, held his ground but ultimately, his incomplete fusion left him vulnerable. The brothers eventually decapitated Deadpool.
Watching this, Logan Howlett fell silent, surprised by the turn of events. Erik raised an eyebrow and said, "Your brother was deceived by Stryker, not understanding the need for mutant unity. You must convince him when you return."
"He's not the brightest," Logan Howlett rolled his eyes.
In the video, the brothers defeated Deadpool, and Sabretooth left decisively. Meanwhile, the captive mutant youths were saved by a bald old man who appeared suddenly.
With everything settled, Wolverine found Silver Fox, who had been shot during the battle. He picked her up and planned to leave the place.
