Licht was having a very peculiar dream. It was a very vivid dream where he could feel everything. He could feel the then harsh wind of the north and silk-like snow under his feet.
He took a step forward and scanned around him. Unlike the giant forest where he was attacked, it was a desolate mountain range with a few trees. Oddly enough, he didn't feel cold or warm despite he could feel the wind. It was a very mysterious sensation for him.
Step*
He walked for a long time to find the settlement where he could meet any living beings, but there was no settlement. Only more snow was waiting for him.
Licht felt disheartened as he sat down on the ground. He picked up a handful of snow and formed a snowball.
Swoosh*
He threw the snowball in the air to reduce his boredom and loneliness. He couldn't figure out why he was lonely or why he was bored. He was only thinking about his escape from this zone because he felt something was wrong.
He pondered for a while to find out what was wrong. However, he didn't receive any answer. Moreover, he felt he was getting lightheaded for no reason. It was like his memories were getting hazier.
The truth dawned on him immediately as he woke up with horror. Licht desperately got up from the ground and looked around him. The snow which looked gorgeous now looked like a death trap to him.
Licht bit his lips as he looked up to the mountain. He knew the only way to get out of this dream was to climb this mountain which was towering up to the sky.
Licht sighed as he picked up the twig near him. He used it as a cane to support himself. Although he didn't feel the cold, he was feeling hungry which means that he still had his basic needs. Licht was feeling that he will die in the real world if he die here. Hence, he gritted his teeth and climbed up to the mountain.
Breeze*
The wind was getting harsher and harsher as he climbed up to the top. Licht pulled down his hood to protect himself from the wind. The more he was exposed to the wind, the more he would tire out easily. So, he covered himself and continued to walk.
The route was getting narrower while he was climbing. Furthermore, it was covered with ice to worsen the situation. Even so, Licht wasn't fazed at all. His eyes were full of determination to survive.
His will was so strong that he made up all way to the top in a few hours. His abnormal body had prevented suffocation thanks to its constitution.
Step*
Finally, Licht was very close to the top. He could almost see the tip of the mountain. Nonetheless, there was a very strange cave next to where he was standing. It was very close to the cliff which was tall enough to kill anyone if they fall.
Licht shook his head as he tried to focus on his objective climb up, but something was telling him to be careful of what was inside the cave because there were multiple tracks on the ground to indicate that powerful beings were hiding inside the cave.
Crunch*
An hour had passed since his last rest. Licht was feeling exhausted. His body was trembling from the fatigue which accumulated so far. Even though he was climbing with incredible speed, he couldn't defeat nature.
Licht gasped for a breath as he walked up. He felt his throat getting squeezed and his lungs were held by some force.
Awoo*
Suddenly, he heard howls. These howls were so terrifying that Licht almost lost his balance. A sinister sound of something coming right up to him was heard by him. His heart was beating was fast that he could hear it.
Licht knew he didn't stand a chance against those things if they reach him. Therefore, he tried to circle, but there was no way down except for the route which he had taken before. Licht gritted his teeth as he slapped himself. He told himself to get hold of himself because he had to survive.
Dig*
He dug a hole near the tip and waited for the creature.
