บท 6: Chapter 6 : Martial Soul orb went crazy
The moment was crazy and mixed with a charm of humor.The unbelievable had become possible. The Martial root orb had its mind getting exhausted as many had stated it. And what made it worse were the two young brats who almost betted on everything. The discussions among the Juniors went from crazy to worst.
" I bet six gold coins that he won't be admitted." the slim guy said.
" I bet that he will be admitted. I also bet that he won't pay for it.And another last one, I bet he did it intentionally. "
" Deal!" the slim guy said raising his chest.
" " Ye Futian.
Can't these guys be a little serious.
Get not admitted your head! You think I did it intentionally? Come let's go ask my brain. it will tell you all you are thinking is nonsense. And why the hell should you bet in such a situation. Can't you see everyone is getting sick of it.
Ye Futian could feel what Elder Lu was going through the previous moment.
If possible, it would be Paramount for someone to pummel sense into these two brats.
" I have a bonus bet." said the fatty.
" What bet is it Little Smally." said the slim guy curiously.

" True. Hey look! The black oldie is coming this way. Be prepared to pay your debts."
" Brother Big, you are bound to lose to me this time. Just wait and see."
Head invigilator Elder Ounyu Rein attracted alot of attention as he made his way into the examination room. Elder Lu slightly bowed his head upon seeing his senior. Elder Ounyu's gaze moved allover the students till it landed on Ye Futian for moment before moving away. He examined the Martial root orb particles before shaking his head in dismay.
Diverting his head towards Ye Futian, he smirked before asking.
" Are you the one who broke the orb?"
" Yes sir! but it was purely a mistake...I never...."but his words were cut off by Elder Ounyu's next statement. Everyone felt like the world was going crazy. Some even pinched themselves to make sure that they were not dreaming.
" Good job for now. Your admission will be determined by how you perform in the next test. Let hope you won't let me down. Do you understand?"
" Yes sir!" Ye Futian said as he clenched his fists tight.
" Good!" Elder Ounyu said was nodding his head slightly.
" Did I just hear it right?"
" Awch!...Why did you pinch me?"
" Am I dreaming?"
" Of course you are dreaming?Aahhhh...!What did he say!Am I dreaming?"
" That what am asking you."
Slap!
" Your cheek felt so real. So this matter is not a dream."
" Piss off!"
" Silence! "Elder Ounyu's voice resounded allover the Hall giving him the attention he wanted.
" We are now done with the Martial root test. Let me congregate everyone on the good work done. I have to kindly request everyone who failed to accomplish the basic requirements to kindly move back home."
" Alas! I failed to Join the college."
" How about we go join the military Academy."
" Yeah! That's where am heading to."
" Brother, wait for me. Am coming to!"
" Slowly but surely almost half of the students left the Hall leaving about fifteen thousand students."
One can tell how terrifying the requirements for join the holy Land of the Hei Dynasty were.
" I will once again congratulate you upon passing the previous test. Except for the minor problem that occurred at the end of the examination, I am certain that everything went fine. So, congregations to you all."
" The next test will determine where exactly you will be staying. Even though some of you have made it to the inner court, I can assure you that the situation will not be pleasant as it seems. So whatever you obtain in the next test may help you in your next three years while in this college. Having said that. I'll hand over to Elder Mu You who will oversee the next test. Thank you for listening."
Elder Mu entered the Hall with graceful steps of a gazelle and slightly bowed towards Elder Ounyu and Elder Lu. She then smiled sweetly as she looked upon the students.
The smile gave off a comfy assuring serene ambiance. it left one feeling as though they were at home.
" I welcome you all to this final test. I am Elder Mu You as I have been introduced earlier. I will be overseeing this state. You can call me the head supervisor in this test. This test is very simple. All you need to aquire are beast cores. Beasts are differentiated into five tiers. The highest is five and the lowest is one. But these tiers are further sub-divided into three tiers; initial, mid and peak. So in this exam, all you need to acquire is either an initial one tier beast core, or a mid tier beast core and lastly a peak tier beast core. The initial goes for ten points, the mid goes for fifty points and lastly the peak tier goes for one hundred fifty points. With your current strength as pre-cultivators, your maximum is a peak tiers which can only be acquire if you hunt in groups. I would strongly recommend that. If any any of you successfully hunts down a two tier beast, it goes for four hundred points. The minimum requirement to pass this test is five hundred points."
The information caused many to gasp. Unlike the previous time. Everyone remained silent as they listened.
" These will be safety tokens. If any of you meet any danger, crush the token and you will automatically be transported out. But that also means you have been disqualified unless you have a human tier Violent Martial root. So use your safety token cautiously. Anyone who injuries a fellow friend by crippling or killing them will be crippled or killed too. So think twice before you act. Having said that follow me."
In a small area was a black wormhole with a small wind terrifying currents at the centre. Slowly a group of these Elders and students arrived before it.
" Throw a drop of blood on it and you will automatically be transported in. Your names will also be recorded in the large water curtain." Lifting their heads,a large water curtain could be seen besides the wormhole.
" You must make haste never to enter the forbidden areas. The mist area is the most dangerous of all.Is that clear to everyone?"
" Yes!"
