Two hours later, Su Yu awoke from a chaotic state.

As soon as he regained consciousness, he felt agonizing pain and an intense itch that penetrated to his bone marrow from the right half of his body and his back, prompting him to grumble a couple of times.

"What just happened? What on earth happened?" Su Yu felt as if he had just experienced a horrific nightmare, his mind utterly blank.

About seven or eight seconds later, his memory gradually returned. Only then could he recall what had transpired on Skru Star and that "dissolution beam," which almost delivered him into death's doorstep.

Recalling the dissolution beam sent waves of terror rushing towards Su Yu. His heart pounded violently, as if it was about to leap out of his chest.

Thankfully, Morning Star had reacted swiftly and blocked the beam for him. Otherwise, at the speed of the beam, he might have been killed on the spot even before he could activate his lifesaving skills!
