Austria and Russia broke the treaty imposed to them after the Russo-Prussian war of 1832 and expands their military size in a rapid manner. The France actions in the far east is worrying for the British interest in that region. The Ottoman Empire continues to invade the small Principality of Montenegro. The Spanish also expanding their armies to crush the colonial rebellion in Cuba.
