Hey guys, how are you all doing its yer boi Shady back with a chapter.... :-| Don't give me that look man i know i have been not updating my fanfic but what can i do, daily in my dreams i am having a nightmare seeing my exams creeping upto me and telling me to study or you will ruin your career in real life. therefore, I was not able to spend some time to think about this fanfic resulting in no updates but worry not i am planning to write something even it's little-daily for one hour so that I can atleast upload something on webnovel but it may be irregular; anyway enjoy this chapter.

Yes, i dont want anyone to look down on me nor do i want anyone to walk on my face throughout my life and to achieve that i need Pokemon, not just any Pokemon no if i go and catch a rattata as my starter Pokemon then i might be able to raise it and start my journey but I will not be able to surpass my peers who are already ahead of me due to their resources and family guidance and let's ignore the kids of influential family alone their starting point right now is so ahead to me that if i think about it i will be depressed even before starting my journey.
let's focus on my requirements first, i need promising Pokemon, Pokemon who have great potential in later stages but with less investment in initial stages, that atleast if i want to pose a threat to other trainers through out the League competition this year.
I am not the type of person who think a specific Pokemon line can be weaker to another Pokemon line but leave me even the region most famous professor of our region Oak cannot deny the fact that some pokemon have weak constitution as to be used for battling while some Pokemon can only grow to some limit.
But this does not make them weak, no sir even a Pokemon like shedinja with terrific defence can bring the whole team of Pokemon of a trainer unless used super effective moves , this explains a Pokemon of weak potential with enough resources, training and experience can become strong.
But my point is rather than wasting my resources like water which is already very low to grow a Pokemon from bottom to top I will raise a Pokemon with an already good base to Peak as it will be more efficient and will save me more precious time.
One might think then why don't you catch a pidgey then, they are found all around the region are easy to catch and tame moreover with little time one can evolve them aswell. and leaving not the fact that their final evolution is a strong pidgeot whose potential as a flying type pokemon is huge.
Pidgeot is great Pokemon there is no doubt but here comes another important aspect of a aspiring trainer- 'Pokemon types' and what type of a Pokemon a trainer uses. it might sound idiotic to some trainers and they may question-' what are you fussing over types, when one could catch many types on the field' .
'Answer cause i dont want to catch all types of Pokemon, i want to go to the route of type specialist'. what i mean is i want to keep my battling team centered around one or two types of Pokemon.
A dumb guy might question- why would you need to become a type specialist whose weakness is always open to everyone whereas one can be a generalist who has a diverse set of Pokemon to battle around.
This is not a rare thinking infact people in all around the region have a common idea that catching different types of Pokemon and training different types of Pokemon in their arsenal makes them prepared for many situation hence making them a strong trainer but they can not be more wrong.
Yes having diverse types of Pokemon make your team in general very flexible giving you edge in many battles but tell me does a Pokemon type makes them win a Pokemon battle no a Pokemon move used by a Pokemon make them win battle.
But other types of Pokemon can also learn different types of moves with the help of move tutors and TM which can give them edge towards you aswell while negating the fact that a type specialist have to mainly cover a few weakness and tactics of his Pokemons types while a generalist have to prepare different tactics for their different situation and Pokemon.
All in all using different type of Pokemon in the initial stages can be very effective but the more you step near the league the harder will be the challenges as trainers try to cover up their weakness with better battle tactics and good moveset therefore making the influence of type advantage battles negligible.
And that is same with the gym battles where the gym trainers and gym leaders start taking challenges more seriously and battling those experienced veterans in their homefield on the scope of just having type advantage is just plain stupid.
Furthermore one cannot only expect all the battles to be even, there will come a time when the opponent pokemon stage outclass you and even if you have the type advantage in the match the result will not change, the upper stage Pokemon will sweep the victory easily.
While all these points are correct on its own right, the most important aspect which makes me walk on the path of a type specialist is that it makes my road to strength shorter and less chaotic.
A Pokemon doesn't just become stronger with battle experience and move training only, no along with these practices relative diet and effective training in the element/type which the Pokemon control is also required.
All these can be accomplished by Pokemon with the help of their trainers right guidance, but not everything is obtained easily, hence here comes the blockade a trainer can help grow their Pokemon in physical training aswell as element control but they cannot increase their element power.
Which requires unique materials such as body parts of higher stage Pokemon be it from dead or alive pokemon, another method can be gem condensed by higher stage pokemon energy. all these can be absorbed by your Pokemon if they can manipulate the same type of energy which you feed them.
These requirements along with battle stimulus are needed to be fulfilled all in order to make the Pokemon breakthrough their current stage, to break their limits but all these materials are expensive but more than that hard to get sourced from.
This is also the reason why you see gym leaders or many elite four members with specialisation in one type as it's better to walk on the path known and practiced than going through many path at the same time while wasting important resources, which will amount to nothing in the end with no results.
In one sentence they are master of one rather than being jack of all.
'This also bring me to another issue of choosing which type to specialise, i have to choose a type whose weakness and strengths are balanced, and i have the perfect Pokemon type in mind and at last i should stop my monologue'.

i have built up some thoughts in Sirius to choose which route he want to go and work with along with explaining my reasonings for that, hope you all liked that.
Next chapter will cover which Pokemon and how will he catch him/her and please tell me if i am going slow or fast with the story i will appreciate it.
Aswell as i will like to ask you all to point out the grammatical mistakes i make, i am new to writing so i will make mistakes so an advance apology for that.
