Julie was already walking back to the gallery to let Damien know that breakfast was ready, when she remembered his warning to her, she evilly said to herself, "Why don't I teach him a lesson and just go down for breakfast, without calling him".
When she turned to leave, another thought came up, "if I go down for breakfast without him, they might suspect things, well, I have no choice but to go against his rule", she was happy with breaking that rule he had made earlier, well, she was planning on making it seem that she had no choice but to enter into the gallery.
Julie entered into the gallery, with no regrets. She announced, "Sorry I came in again, i just wanted to let you know that breakfast is ready, I'm starving and I'm sure you are too, so let's go down before it gets cold".
For some reason, Damien had gotten irritated. He didn't respond, he furiously kept the pallet and then walked out of the gallery. Julie didn't understand what happened, "did i say something wrong?", she asked him while he was leaving. But he didn't give her a response while walking away, she was even sure he didn't hear what she just said. She quickly went in to see what he was drawing, it was beautiful, it was the drawing of a woman, but it seemed like he had just made a mistake, she now understood what made him feel irritated and left.
"Was I the cause of this mistake?, he could I've just erased it, what's the big deal", she said to herself as she made up her mind to erase the error.
Julie had also noticed something, most of all the drawings hanged on the wall, had the image of this same woman she spotted in front of her. And in some of the images, the woman wasn't just drawn alone but also with a man, who stood next to her, they looked like a couple.
Julie heard footsteps, so she quickly walked out of there but she accidentally hit a painting. It fell directly to the ground and made a cracking sound. Julie was dumb-founded at the sight of this.
"How's your foot, Diane??", Aunt Maggie asked her while they sat for breakfast. "Any better??". Diane replied warmly "It's okay now".
"That's good to hear", was Aunt Maggie's response.
"Anna, hope Nora got to school early this time?". "Yes, I made sure she went early, mum", Anna replied softly.
"Good morning, Aunt", Taylor greeted as he gave her a kiss on her cheek. "How was your night, son?", Aunt Maggie asked affectionately. "It was sweet Aunt, what made it sweeter was seeing you in my dream", he replied as he sat on the chair.
After remembering a scene from yesterday, Diane asked like she cared, "What of granny, isn't she joining us for breakfast?". "No, she wouldn't, the Doctor had instructed that she sleep and rest more", Aunt Maggie answered.
"I'd love to see her after breakfast", Diane announced cheerfully.
"Why is Damien not here yet??", Aunt Maggie asked after noticing his absence.
"I have told them that breakfast is ready, Madame", the maid answered. "So why aren't they here yet?".
"Aunt let it slide, it's not a surprise, Damien has always been like that, he's not fond of having breakfast with us, so why should we mind now or has he changed over the years I hadn't been around, or will it be he's hiding his fiancée from someone who might hurt her?", Taylor chuckled at the end of his statement.
Diane smiled evilly at his last statement, she thought to herself, "He should better do, because she's in big danger".
"Let me go upstairs to call them", Diane volunteered.
"That's the maid's job, Miss", Taylor reminded her. "Yes, Diane there's no need, Bènèdicte will go herself", Aunt Maggie supported. Diane felt disappointed and reclined.
Aunt Maggie turned to Bènèdicte, "Call them again, let them know that I'll like to see them here with us for breakfast". The maid went away as instructed. The other maids continued the serving of the meal.
Taylor had already served his meal himself, "Aunt, what of our wonderful uncle, why isn't he here with us this morning?". Taylor asked before he began to dig in.
"He had an urgent meeting to attend to", She replied. "He still works for the firm?", he asked after swallowing his chewed food. "Yes, he does", Aunt Maggie replied feeling unconcerned.
"What of your father? I was expecting to see him this year, he has disappointed me again, by not showing up again, is this how much he hates us?", Aunt Maggie asked.
