บท 22: ~Auction~
~Six Days Later~
Luna landed in a forest while saying, 'you sure I can't come with you?'
'You can't, it's just an hour or two and you'll be out,' Huno replied and got down the platform. Not waiting for her to say anything, he took her in with the platform. He held a small storage bag given to him by Lee Wei to keep his energy balls. He puts his hand in and brought out two balls which he held in his hands. The storage bag was a great help when carrying several balls, but it had a shortcoming. The bag cuts his connection with them. Keeping the storage bag in his robe pocket by the chest area, Huno head to the city.
He walked for forty minutes before reaching the very busy city gate. Wagons that were entering and exiting the city were in a queue. People on foot like Huno had a small gate where they orderly entered and exited. Huno stood in line for twenty minutes before it got to his turn.
'The guard at the gate looked at him and said, 'you are new, city rules no fighting allowed if you want to fight there is a fighting arena in the city if caught fighting depending on the nuisance caused you may be killed on the spot,'.
'Understood sir,' Huno replied.
'Theft in the city is a grave offense, kill on site for any thief. Lastly you are to pay five silvers before entering,' the guard said.
Huno brought out his storage bag, paid the fee, and could go in. He passed the gate and went in, staring around like a newcomer. After walking far away from the gate, he took out the white mask and put it on. He went straight to the city market first and walked around.
He found a big shop and walked into it. 'How may I help you, kind sir?' a young lady walked up to him and asked.
Huno smiled and replied, 'I'll like to purchase healing pills. How do your fine shop sell?'.
'What kind of healing pills do you want to purchase?' The young lady asked.
'What kind do you have?' Huno asked.
'We have a low rank, mid-rank, and high-rank healing pills sir, which will you like?' the young lady asked.
'How much is the high rank?' Huno asked.
'The high rank cost a hundred silvers for one pill, but we sell a jade bottle of eleven pills for one thousand silvers,' the young lady replied.
'That's ten gold for a jade, right?' Huno asked.
'Yes sir,' the young lady replied.
'I'll take ten jade. Do you sell any storage equipment?' Huno asked.
'Yes sir, we have storage rings. We sell a ring for hundred silvers,' the young lady replied.
Huno frowned, stared at her and said, 'did you increase the price because I said I'll take ten jade?'.
'No sir,' the young lady replied.
'I hope so, I like an honest business, if I find out I won't step in your shop again and I promise you will lose a valuable client,' Huno said and added, 'I'll take ten rings if it is allowed I would like a private room, as you know walls have eyes and ears,'.
'I understand sir, please, right this way,' the young lady said and led the way.
They climbed the stairs and went to the up floor. Along the way, a few workers greeted the young lady, 'vice manager,'.
The young lady smiled and said, 'continue with your work,'. Then she took the left turn, after which she opened a door and said to Huno, 'Please,'.
Huno nodded and went in after him, she followed in and shut the door. In the small room, there were two long comfortable-looking chairs set facing each other and a glass table between them. The table had some papers, an ink brush, an ink plate, bell-like instruments, and a ruler. 'Please have a sit,' the young lady said.
Huno sat backing the door, and the young lady sat across him. 'Permit me to ask why the vice manager is the one receiving clients at the door,' Huno said while the young lady wrote on paper with an ink brush. 'I started from there. I did it for a long time that I became comfortable with it. Sitting behind a desk all day isn't for me,' the young lady replied.
'I find that interesting, that just gave me a twenty percent assurance that I am having a business with an honest person,' Huno said and added, 'Let's go on, first I go by Ochiro,'.
'Nice to meet sir Ochiro, I am Su Qing,' the young lady replied.
'I would like to know the artifacts you have,' Huno said and added, 'I guess you should know what I would like to purchase by now'.
'Yes sir I do,'.
'Sorry before you go on please tell me the levels of artifacts, I'll like to get a better understanding,' Huno said interrupting her.
'Okay sir, there are three levels of artifacts, the foundation realm artifacts, the True realm artifacts, and the legendary realm artifacts, the first two are divided into three grades, the low grade the mid, and the high while the last is divided into low and high grade,' Su Qing explained.
'For the legendary defensive artifacts, the low grade can take a full attack of a mid-rank legendary realm while the high grade can the attack of a high-rank legendary realm, it is not known if it can take the attack of a peak,' she added.
'And how much is it?'
'One cost between eight thousand to ten thousand gold,' Su Qing replied.
'Hmm that's over my budget, I still have to get a place to stay first,' Huno muttered to himself.

Su Qing asked.
'How much is one with four rooms to rent and buy?' Huno asked.
'Why four rooms?' Lee Wei's voice came to his ear.
'One for each person, Luna and I can have one,' Huno replied.
Su Qing frowned but replied, 'to rent the least you can find that meets my family criteria of a good place will be eight hundred silvers a month, while buying will be about six thousand gold,'.
'Huno, just get one with three rooms. Big brother and I can share,' Xue Li replied. 'Remember, we need to be low key,'.
'That's true,' Huno replied and then asked Su Qing, 'What are your company rules and regulations about clients?'.
'Everything concerning our clients is confidential matters. We are not to snoop into a client's life. Everything is strictly business and nothing personal,' Su Qing replied.
'If I hand over something valuable for you to help me sell, can I be assured it will not be traced back to me?' Huno asked.
'It will not be traced back to you, but please note we don't sell stolen goods, and a twenty percent fee is collected from whatever amount the goods are sold for,' Su Qing replied.
'That's good, back to the house, one with three rooms, selling price only,' Huno replied.
'The lest you'll get from us is at four thousand two hundred gold,' Su Qing replied.
'Okay, I'll take that one. How long will it take for me to get one?' Huno asked.
'I can bring you the different ones we have for you to choose from and we can sign the documents right now,' Su Qing replied.
'Good, please do,' Huno said.
'Please excuse me for a moment,' Su Qing said and stood up.
She walked out of the room and then Huno asked, 'brother if I want to trap energies in a certain place is there anyone who can do that?'.
'Well, an array formation master will be the one you will seek,' Lee Wei replied. 'They can create an array around a place that can protect whatever is in the array. They should be able to do that,' he added.
'Okay, I want to exchange spirit stones for coins or goods with them. What do you guys think?' Huno asked.
'I feel we will attract enemies to ourselves,' Lee Wei said.
'I know, but eventually we will surely attract enemies and to protect ourselves better we need better equipment,' Huno said. 'The quicker we get them, the better,' he added.
'Hmm... You have a point. If that's the case, then auction the stones. You'll be able to get more than the exchange rate,' Xue Li suggested.

Lee Wei laughed, 'I told you she does the thinking,'.
'What other ideas do you have?' Huno asked.
