I'd never thought I would get to spend the night here in the elven realm. By now, Lira, Ras and everyone else at headquarters would have found out that I was gone and I would be forced to come up with a believable excuse as to where I'd went. For Lira, I would tell her the truth. I always had. 

Arin and her girls had begun to dress me up early in the morning. As much as I wanted to get this over with so that I could leave, I had to be presentable to be worthy for a meeting with the Six Guardians. They intend to meet me, and I had to know what for. After that, I could finally go back. Though that depended entirely on what they wanted from me, and I hoped that it did not warrant me having to stay a minute longer in Avidya.
