บท 251: Meeting again

Tables and chairs were arranged neatly inside Li Group’s large, spacious meeting room. The floor was covered in an expensive red carpet. It was a luxurious meeting room.

At the head of the table, Bai Chen was sitting calmly. There was a coffee mug in front of him. He had already drunk half of it.

It had been 20 minutes after they had left the office of the vice president Hua Hai.

Bai Chen had been sipping his coffee for the past 20 minutes, waiting for the police to arrive.

When they did, Li Cong Tian would hand over the accounting ledger showing embezzlement of funds, the important evidence implicating Hua Hai, to the police. The rest of it would be the police’s job. Feng Chao would eventually be relieved of the charge.

“Mr. Bai San, would you like more coffee?” Li Cong Tian, who was sitting beside Bai Chen, asked politely.

Li Cong Tian was in a better mood now.
