บท 122: Bonus chapter --Past

[This is a bonus chapter. It is basically from the past. The purpose of the chapter is to have a glimpse of what our leads were before they become what they are now.  Esmeralda is a teenager here and Ethan is a university student.]

"Did you see the new movie? Madonna was looking fire in it, wasn't she?" A girl said as she was leaning against her locker. Madonna was the top heroine of that time. She ruled the golden screen. 

"You know we have a science test and we should be preparing for it?" The other girl said. 

"Why are you so boring?" The girl huffed and went away. As she went away, she saw a petite girl with wild red hair running her way holding a stack of books. The petite girl was waving at her with one hand as if saying go away from her way but she realized it too late. 

Soon, the two girls collided with each other and all the books fell on the ground with a thump. The students in the hallway laughed at the petite girl who became the joke of the morning.
