บท 52: Poison

The shift of conversation changed after Ethan started talking about Ronan. Even Esmeralda was now curious to meet the third Westburry brother. All the Westburry children were very different from each other. She had already met Asher and she had nothing to say about him except the fact that he was an ambitious soul who was ready to sacrifice anyone or anything to get what he wanted. She didn't know if he was an evil man yet she needed to read him more to come to the conclusion. 

Ethan had an aloof exterior but he had a very kind interior. He would pretend that nothing affect him at all but she knew that it was not the truth. He was ready to go to any extent for his family and she could see it from his decision of taking a contracted bride just because he didn't want this safe haven to be snatched from Selene whom the latter adored the most.
