บท 19: Chapter 19: Alyssa, the entitled young mistress
Four years later, Richie had long come to terms with his mother's death, whilst it was a heartbreaking event, Richie knew he had to get through it, unless he wanted his cultivation future to be ruined.
Many things had happened to the Hong clan since his mother's death, firstly, the clan had advanced to a 2nd rate force due to his father's rule, and also partly because he wanted to figure out what killed his wife.
Secondly, most of the Hong clans elders, despite Richie's father's hard work on improving the clan, started supporting the grand elders son, wishing for him to become the new clan head, this obviously infuriated Richie's father greatly.
The grand elder, despite his title was actually a man at around the age of Richie's father, in fact, they had been rivals back when they were younger, because he didn't get the position of clan head as it was given to his rival, he now tried as hard as he could to be a huge thorn in the clan head's backside.
The worst part about that was because it was actually working, Richie's father was constantly annoyed by the grand elder, and despite his title as the clan head, he couldn't get rid of the grand elder, he needed the support of most of the elders.
But that was impossible, most of the elders were on the grand elder's side for some reason, this was one of the things Richie's father could never understand, why so many elders supported the grand elder.
Well, it didn't matter, the main point us that the grand elder had a child more talented than Richie and wanted him to become the next clan head.
This was a problem because Richie's father had no way to rebut the Grand elder's decision, most of the elders were supporting him, and his son was just more talented in cultivation than Richie.
And thirdly, Alyssa, the daughter of one of the more important Wang clan elders, Just a few days ago, she had suddenly appeared. She was a hideous woman, at around the age of 28, she was very blond and looked at everything unfriendly, the main problem with this was that if the word 'Karen' was a person, she would be it.
From the very first day she came in contact with the Hong clan, she killed 10 guard with her superior cultivation, and when confronted by Richie's father, she simply said "Do YOu KnOW wHO I aM" and then proceeded to fire thousands of insults at the Hong clan whilst threatening to have the Hong clan destroyed if they didn't listen to her.
This wouldn't have been a problem If it had happened once, but no, throughout the next couple of years, she appeared, every day in the Hong clan, annoying the guards and elders to no end, there was simply no way to get her away, they had tried contacting Alyssa's father, that didn't work, he just told them that her daughter was an angel and was obviously doing what she was doing for a good reason.
This got annoying fast, the constant pressure drove Richie's father to the brink of sanity, he had to do something.
" Alright, the reason I have gotten all of you gathered here is because of an issue which popped up around 4 years ago, I believe you all know who I'm talking about" The clan head had gathered all of the elders in the Hong clan to deal with Alyssa, she was simply too annoying.
" It's about Alyssa isn't it" multiple elders already caught on, they would be stupid if they didn't know.
" yep, now as you know, we need to get rid of her, she is causing all of our jobs to be much harder"
" I think we should just kill her" one of the elders said, but killing her wasn't a good option, the clan head knew that
" killing her wont work, I know how much you despise her but that would potentially incur the Wang clan's wrath"
" maybe we should just throw her out every time she walks in" another elder suggested
" no that wouldn't work, wait, no it might, if we contact the Wang clan in advance and tell them that if Alyssa causes trouble in our clan again, she will be kicked out, if we do kick her out, the Wang clan wont be able to complain."
Richie's father like the idea of kicking her out, he just refined the idea slightly and then ended the meeting
" okay, that was really quick, I thought we would have to brainstorm more, but I guess we were just being stupid, tomorrow we will deal with her, once and for all. I'll contact the wang clan, you guys just wait for tomorrow"
All of the elders quickly disappeared back to what they were doing, though they were all so excited to finally get rid of that Alyssa woman.
The plan wouldn't go as expected though.

Daoistgzbyet in this chapter, you Might have noticed but, I was addressing Richie's father as 'the clan head' instead of 'Richie's father' I did this because using Richie's father every time I wanted to mention him got quite repetitive, so I changed it up a bit, I didn't give him a name as that will be revealed later on.
