บท 28: Masquerade 8.0
The vampire hunters scattered in the middle of the sea of humans didn't need to think about what concept they were using. Some of the costume party visitors thought that Justin and the others chose the Shadow Hunter concept. The atmosphere in the Royal Building is not much different from previous years in celebrating the people's party with the theme of a costume party. The mayor of Granite Falls was giggling in his Monte Carlo costume. He and several other high-ranking officials were busy talking about politics and business.
"Where's Cassandra Victor?" Justin wondered, preparing his hunting gear as he wandered around looking for Cassandra.
On the balcony that was no less crowded, Laura appeared while looking down. His sense of smell worked instinctively to smell the scent of human blood spreading around him. His inner revolt told him to touch only one human. But he also tried his best to control himself so as not to attract the attention of many people. All Laura wanted was a pleasure.
His fingers stroked the balcony ledge as he stepped down to descend. The pairs of human eyes there stared in awe with their jaws almost falling on the floor, looking at Laura's eye-catching appearance, beautiful, elegant, and sexy. There was even a young man who had a nosebleed when the girl stepped past him, giving a seductive glance and a lopsided smile.
Laura descended the stairs carefully and gracefully, ignoring any eyes that were glaring at her. Unlucky. Laura's appearance that night was able to break the hearts and confidence of the girls in the hall. As if indirectly Laura shouted in the ears of hundreds of girls around her saying, "Look, Bitches. You're nothing and I'm everything." Like the words Laura used to say to girls who harbored envy for her, they almost hurt her because of jealousy.
Laura's gaze stopped circulating to see a human figure that caught her attention more. Despite being in the crowd, the young man was like a magnet with different poles, drawing Laura even more attention. Laura's brows furrowed in surprise. In his heart he wondered, wasn't the young man walking in the crowd the vampire hunter he had bitten?
"Holyshit, it's him again," Laura snorted softly at the realization of Justin Leonidas. "Why didn't he die?"
The noise of two girls nearby suddenly made Laura's ears pop.
"Geez! It's Justin! Look! It really is Justin! I was right?! He must have come here!"
"Oh no, hit me if this isn't a dream!"
