CHAPTER 45

Standing face to face with the thick darkness that ate her whole, Raven's eyes remained open as she stared on in shock and terror.

Never in a thousand years would she have expected to see that which was seen here today. And nothing could prepare her heart for this.

Her face was ashen with shock; for the most part, her senses failed her as they could not comprehend what they saw nor could they fathom how to react.

It felt so real. More real than the dream and that fact she was here, proved everything to be true. Still, her boldness did not let her.

This not only showed her what she had seen to be the past but made her wonder what kind of future awaited her. Whether she was going to remain here with him or not?

As bleak as the future was, Raven's priority now was centred on what she saw and no longer on her means of escape.

Hanging on the wall in front of her, a feminine body covered in blood came into view.
