บท 32: Chapter 32: Hospital

The only time Scott felt this afraid was when he knew his father was dying. Now, while he sat outside of the ER, he couldn’t stop replaying in his head what happened a few hours before, and the fear was starting to eat him alive.

Florence seemed fine the entire time they were together. They were just talking, and suddenly Scott only had time to grab her before she fainted and fell to the floor.

It made no sense. As far as he knew, she was healthy. Why would she faint all of a sudden?

It didn’t help that none of the doctors or nurses would tell him a thing while he waited. Scott didn’t have the chance to take her to his own personal doctor since it was an emergency, but it was a good thing that the closest hospital was a very good and world-renowned one.
