Nova felt her face go hot. " I don't know what you're talking about. Why would you think or say something so awkward and would never be possible? " She said defensively. That hurt. He felt the statement to his bones. She didn't feel the same way he did, he had to remind himself again. Perhaps she only thought of him - as her elder brother and helper but he wanted her. He had to remind himself that she was never going to be his. No one wanted him, anyways. He smiled. " Yes, it's not possible. " He agreed.

He moved away from her and then surprisingly the warmth she was feeling suddenly went away. A chill cold breeze blew on her back and she let out a deep breath.

" I'll be in my room. " He said and he met her gaze for one long, shattering instant and then he turned abruptly and left the kitchen. She swallowed hard.
