IVAN POV

"Get the children!" I immediately roared out at my guards knowing this was about to become ugly pretty fast. 

This was no place to be for children, I had a good idea what Azar has come to do here and it has nothing to do with talking. 

"I suggest they stay back!" A dark figure suddenly emerged from the shadows and before I could react she hurled a fireball at where the guards where heading towards the children. 

I heard a loud squeal from the children as the flames burst against the wall, sending sparks and smoke billowing into the room. My heart clenched when I noticed the look of fear on Rhea's face as she shuffled closer to Caeden and Cyril. Thankfully there was no look of fear on their faces but I could feel it which means I had to wrap this up quickly. 

As the smoke cleared, the figure stepped forward removing her hood and I recognized her as the woman who was once Arianne's handmaiden.
