บท 324: LONG LOST SISTER

IVAN POV

The meeting took longer than I expected and the journey back home took a day, so I was starting to fee l really tired. I haven't been sleeping well lately, mostly because my mind was still heavy from the guilt and also because Arianne was keeping me up at night. I know she was having nightmares, after that first day, it got more consistent. Then she stopped sleeping altogether, though she would always pretend to, I could always sense it. I decided to keep quiet and not push till she was ready to tell me, I just wish she would tell me soon instead of going through this agony on her own.

Very soon, the carriage rolled to a stop. I smiled at my trust coach man, Gavin before I got down. With a weary sigh, I headed back to the castle. I acknowledge the guards who greeted me and some of the servants who were already up and doing their chores for the day.
