บท 272: CONFRONTATION

When I woke up I met my friend's faces staring down at me. Frowning, I tried to remember what happened but my mind came up blank. Releasing a breath, I tried to sit up but I couldn't seem to stand up at all, I felt weaker than usual. Ivan noticed what I wanted to do then reach for me and immediately pulled me into a sitting position. My gaze moved over greedily to the iced beverage on the stool. Kiran noticed this and grabbed the drink passing it to me.

I accepted it with a smile before I gulped down the content in one go, loving the way the ice melted in my mouth. Opening my eyes, I turned to look back at Ivan who was watching me with wary eyes. "What happened?" I croaked out.

"You don't remember?" Ivan asked searching my face for any sign of recognition.
