บท 52: GROWING PAINS

The moon goddess stared at me with something akin to look of pity on her face which I hated but she immediately changed her expression to that of a serious one.

"I suppose your moment of ignorance is over, you deserve to know the truth." She told me while I heaved out a relieved sigh.

Finally! Some answers!

"Come here Arianne." The moon goddess commanded from where she was sitting on the rock close to the river. With a small sigh, I walked closer to her, "Look inside the waters and tell me what you see." She commanded.

I looked at the water expecting to see something but the only thing I could see was my reflection in the waters. "I can't see anything just me."

The moon goddess smiled at me, "Sometimes, the most hidden of truths lies inside us. Look again child." She commanded again.
