(1st POV)
(A few weeks later)
''Can't I go by myself? I don't wanna stay home bored all day while you go to work'' I act childish.
*sigh* ''Alright, fine, but you better be home before I get back. Otherwise, you're not going anymore'' My mother lays down the rules as I nod, knowing her work ends at 4 pm
*sigh* She sighs again ''Stay safe, ok?'' She says as I nod and rush out the door
While running I think (Finally, I'm free. She worries too much, nothing is happening. Well right now. Now I can finally go to the Taijutsu section, just need to find a good training regiment and a fighting style that suits me.)
Making it to the front of the library I slow down ad walk in. I head straight to the Taijutsu section and start looking through the shelves. (Hmm, most of these styles are based on fluid motion. These should work for me since I probably have a water affinity. Though these styles are basic I can't get to the second floor) When I first came to the library I saw a staircase in the corner and when my mother saw me looking at it she told me
''You can't go to the next level, there are more advanced techniques but you need to be at least chunin to go up there and the one above that is for jonin''
That was probably the reason I didn't see a kenjutsu section when I first came here, even though the Uzumaki have a certain talent for it. Now that I look into the ninjutsu section there are only D and a few C ranks. I also saw a distinct lack of the tree climbing exercise in the chakra section.
(Can't even walk up there with the sealing barrier in the way. Once I'm done with this floor I'll find a way to sneak up there.) Thinking to myself I continue searching for a suitable style and stumble upon a style called Water Fist. Despite its name, it doesn't have any similarity with Gentle Fist because of its distinct fluidity to make you look like you're dancing, with swords being optional to add to it, mainly for an increased range. I also picked up a simple training regiment and remembered it on the spot.
I pick up the scroll and go to a table and chair, sit down and start to read through it.
(Photographic memory is such a blessing for this type of thing) I think as I keep reading
Once I was done committing it to memory I headed over to the general knowledge section and picked up a cookbook. If I'm going to be leaving this place then I would need to know how to cook something other than just steak on a pan or instant ramen
I go back to my chair and take out a leaf from my pocket and stick it onto my arm and focus chakra into that spot. Seeing that it stuck I started reading the book
(10 minutes later)
As I'm reading I started to hear faint voices yelling. Confused I turn to the door and just then a 40-year-old-looking woman holding a child somewhere around my age by the collar as she was kicking
''No! Reading is boring!'' I hear the little girl yell
''Everyone else has been reading diligently at the orphanage while you run around the village doing who knows what. It's unfair to the other children and you haven't even learned to read yet!'' the old woman yelled back. I recognized her as a caretaker at the orphanage
(Damn, that's strict) I think to myself and go back to my reading as they keep yelling at each other while the old librarian tries to calm them down
''Humph!'' I hear alongside footsteps approaching toward me
''Hey, you!'' When I look up from my book I see the small girl in front of me pointing at me
(Wait doesn't she looks familia-)
''My name is Kushina Uzumaki, read to me what you're reading!'' The little girl yelled at me as I blink
(This tiny girl is the Kushina?) I think as I look at her long red hair, dark blue eyes, and round face
''Sure... I'm Yuki Uzumaki'' I say as she sits on the chair in front of me and stares at me
''Well!'' She says as I was just looking at her (Who just comes up to strangers and tells them to read aloud for them)
*cough* *cough* I fake cough as I begin reading aloud
And that was how I met the Red Hot-Blooded Habanero herself aka Tomato.
After she calmed down she started listening to me reading recipes intently
(4 hours later)
As I am reading aloud I peek over the book to see her sleeping on her arms on the table. I think she fell asleep dreaming about the foods
I stop reading aloud and look at the clock
(Oh fu-) The clock read 4:34
I quickly get up and put the leaf back in my pocket but before leaving
''Hey, wake up'' I said while nudging her
She yawns and rubs her eyes as she sits up
''I gotta go, bye'' I say after making sure she woke up and turn around
''Wait!'' I hear as I turn
''What?''
''Thanks, you read really well'' She says, almost shyly
''No problem'' I say as I run off (Mom's gonna kill me) I think as I run
Needless to say, I got yelled at by a worrying mother and couldn't go to the library for a week, and sat in my room. At least I got to train my body and Water Fist.
I also got teased about it by Sara which annoyed me to no end. Though I did hear she was pregnant which is something at least. This brings me to the next point, red hair, light red eyes, and glasses. Familiar? Yes, Sara is most likely Karin's grandmother. What am I going to do with this information? Nothing. It is cool to know though
(Timeskip 1.5 years, 3.5-year-old Yuki)

''Finally!'' I yell in pure bliss as I finish the final book on the first floor of the library
''SHHHH'' I hear from across the library
''Sorry'' I apologize quietly
(Finally, after a year and a half, I'm done... but this is just 1/3. I have found a way to the second floor. On the second floor, there are windows. I plan to use my newly learned tree climbing ability to climb in through the window at night. They won't expect a 3.5-year-old child to walk on walls) Since no one would want to steal chunin-level knowledge, it is only guarded by the entrance so that genins don't just run in there.
Tree climbing took so long because of my gigantic chakra reserves. I have to do it daily just so that my chakra doesn't outgrow my control.
Speaking of chakra, I've slowly started to sense chakra. It isn't anything crazy though, I can just sense where people are by their chakra, if they tried even a little to suppress their chakra then id lose them
I also got my mother to promise that she'd teach me the Adamantine Sealing Chains when I turn 5, though only after a lot of asking
I learned the clone jutsu, the substitution jutsu, and the transformation jutsu.
I also worked on my calligraphy and learned a few simple seals like a small storage seal that can hold like 3 items
I've also trained my Water Fist to the point where I can win against genin-level opponents
As for the escape way... No progress. Though I read in a woodworking book on how to make a boat, but id need to get outside the village and my mother would definitely not accept that
''Hey!'' As I was thinking about my progress I hear a yell and another shhhh
''Didn't I tell you not to yell in the library?'' I said to Kushina who ran to me
She just giggled and ignored the question ''Come on, enough reading, let's go play'' She said and started dragging me out of the library
I've somehow become friends with her, the kinda friend you don't see yourself becoming friends with but it just works out because you've known each other for a long time. 1.5 years is a long time because I keep getting dragged by her out of the library and spending the rest of the day with her.
(Later)
''I'm home!'' I yell as I close the front door and take my shoes off
''Welcome home sweetie, how was today?'' My mom asks as she sees me walk into the kitchen
''As good as usual. What are you making?'' I ask as I smell the wonderful aroma
''I'm trying to make ramen for the first time'' She answers as she mixes the noodles in the pot
''I'll help'' I say and start to help her cut the vegetables and other toppings
She finally allowed me to hold sharp objects, so now I can help her while putting the recipes I learned to the test
Once we were done cooking I bring out the bowls and chopsticks while she brings the pot to the table. When we're both seated we fill our bowls to the brim
''Itadakimasu'' We say in unison as we dig in
I cool off the noodles first before bringing them into my mouth
My eyes widen (Damn... this really is the food of the gods) I think, and my mother had the same reaction to it
That night we acted as if manners weren't a thing and devoured the entire pot full of ramen
(Later)
''Goodnight sweetie'' Yua, my mother, says to me
''Goodnight'' I reply back
As she closes the door and I hear her retreating footsteps I opened my eyes and got up.
I walked up to the window, opened it, and crawled out
Sticking my feet to the wall I start running down to just before the ground where I jump and land on my feet
I started running through the shadows of the street towards the library
Without stopping I push chakra to my feet and start running up
Once I'm at the window, I lift it up and sneak inside quietly, closing the window behind me
On the chunin floor, there were different rows, taijutsu, ninjutsu, kenjutsu, and fuinjutsu
(Now this is what I'm talking about) I think as I start looking around
While I'm walking through the ninjutsu section my eyes catch a small piece of paper sticking out
Curious, I reach and take out the paper (Wait, doesn't this look like a chakra paper? It is in the ninjutsu section after all. Let me just...) I think to myself and send chakra to the paper
Unsurprisingly it became wet, signifying a water affinity, but what was surprising was that it crumpled representing a lightning affinity, and even more surprising was that it cut through the middle indicating a third affinity, wind!
Now something unexpected happened, purple lighting sparked out of one side while the other started fluttering, fast, almost a blur
But a third thing happened as the wind around started to blow, lightning danced all around as I felt the paper get soggier
(What the hell... Alright... In the beginning, it got wet, then it crumpled, then it cut in half. Damn, I really got three affinities? But what happened after that... purple lightning danced around while the other piece started fluttering fast... Maybe... No way... Kekkei Genkai? It wasn't shown what happened if a Kekkei Genkai user were to use chakra paper so it's possible. But what was the last one...)
An idea struck my head, but it couldn't be as I shake my head. (That is too absurd, Kekkei Tota? Heh... heh. What the fuck. How? Was my dad some god in human form, or is it maybe some 'gift' that was given to me by some dude who reincarnated me here... Thanks, I guess.)
(A/N You're welcome)
(Now, purple lightning... The only Kekkei Genkai I can come up with is Storm release, Madara used it as a purple beam once. But that fluttering part...)
I think through the Kekkei Genkai I know of
(Fluttered so fast it turned into a blur... a blur... Wait, Swift release? That's the only thing I could think of... Damn, if I master these, I'll be so powerful.)
Now that I think about the final thing that happened, my memory turns up a blank
(The only Kekkei Tota known is Dust release, but there are many combinations, perhaps it's a combination of water wind lightning? Imagine the destruction it could cause...)
Putting that Kekkei Tota idea on the back burner, excitement fils me knowing I have quite possibly 2 Kekkei Genkai and a mysterious Kekkei Tota, I get to work
I search for scrolls on training all 5 natures, committing them to memory, and placing them back right where they were.
(Things are going to get very interesting) With that thought, I grab a book from the fuinjutsu section and read until 3 AM. After 4 hours of reading, I place the book back where it was and went back home to sleep.
(A/N Extra thick chapter, don't expect many of these though, hard enough as it is to write at least 1000 words. Rewrote the chakra paper portion since yall were vocal about it, to say the least. Word count: 2263.)
