"You can go now. I wish to have a private chat with him."

'Huh? His voice...?'

As Alex was delivered to Ale's room by the knight in charge, Ale quickly dismissed the knight wishing to have a private chat with him.

Alex was looking down the whole time, subconsciously trying to hide his face with his hair, which had grown quite long in the last few months.

When he heard Ale's voice, which had a very warm and unique vibe to it, it made him want to take a peek at Ale's face for a moment. But his desire to stay alive was stronger.

"Please have a seat."

Ale asked politely, using a tone one should not use while talking to an enemy, and definitely not one Ale should've used to talk to the enemy soldier who was taken hostage.
