Lucia stood before her bed, her fingers lightly brushing the fabrics of the two dresses.
On one side lay a vibrant crimson gown with intricate gold embroidery that shimmered in the candlelight. It was the kind of dress that demanded attention, the kind that would make every head turn as Lucia entered the room.
On the other side was a soft lavender dress, simple yet elegant, with delicate lace trimming. It was understated, a choice that would allow Lucia to blend into the background, observing rather than being observed.
"Hmm, should I be the center of attention or a wallflower," Lucia whispered, her brow furrowed in thought. She paced back and forth, weighing her options.
"If I wore the crimson dress, I need to prepare to interact with the other guests. I'm sure most of them are involved in the illegal business industry!" Lucia stated aggressively. She wanted to know who the people involved were so that she could punish them all together.
"Risking is better than regretting."
