Natan stopped strolling and glanced back. He felt a presence, but no one was behind him. He remained calm, but his hands slowly grasped his sword. He was alone and went down a different path. His plan was to explore the Labyrinth more than win.
"I wonder what this place is hiding," Natan whispered, feeling a chill behind him. When he turned around, he came face to face with an unmoving statue.
"Huh? What is this?" Natan muttered and stared at the statue's face. He was confused since how did the figure came close to him.
Without hesitation, Natan drew out his sword and swung toward the statue.
In a matter of seconds before Natan's blade hit the statue's face. It moved and blocked Natan's attack with its sword.
"What are you?" Natan asked and jumped back to observe his enemy.
The statue didn't reply and returned to its original position, which made Natan creep out, but he didn't care as long as it wouldn't stop him from going further.
In the shadows deep, where secrets lie,
Dwells a creature no one dares deny.
With eyes alight, like fiery stars,
Beware the one with venomous scars.
