The day turned night, and the moon shone brightly in the sky. Everyone was outside the Palace to witness the truth, while Rosina remained inside and watched through the window.
"Your Majesty, do you want me to reheat your milk?" Fina asked softly while looking at the untouched milk she had brought earlier. She knew fresh milk was Rosina's favorite drink, and she always finished them. Seeing that she didn't take notice of it showed she was concerned about the issue even though she wasn't showing it.
"No need. Thank you for your service, Fina. I thought you would quit being a servant after all you have been through," Rosina faced Fina with a smile.
"I thought about it, Your Majesty, but I can't run away forever. Also, I need the salary to sustain my brother's needs," Fina replied shyly and scratched the back of her head.
"Haha! I understand," Rosina replied with a chuckle. She was amused at how honest Fina was about her financial needs, unlike others.
"Get off your horse and drink your milk."
