บท 34: Family Dinner (2)

Ezra wanted to laugh at them when Carly kissed his father on his cheek like they were madly in love. "So you are marrying her because you knocked her up?" His mother pressed his thigh underneath the table to warn him. He's done being polite. "Congratulations Carly for getting knocked up. Oh and for the wedding too."

Carly shifts uncomfortably in her seat but still smiles, "we would like to invite you to our wedding Ezra. I was hoping you would like to walk me down the aisle?"

He laughs hysterical this time, "fuck off Carly, don't expect my presence in your shit drama. I don't care anyway."

"Ezra!" His mother whispers.

His father gets angry, "you will come to the wedding. You will walk my bride down the aisle. And you will bring the senator's daughter as your plus one."
