บท 78: Chapter 78

　　She messaged her PA: “Broke screen on my phone. Need a new one please. Ta.” It was faster to just buy a new one and transfer the SIM over. She would wipe the phone, send it in to have the screen repaired, and then donate it to charity as she did with all her phones when she upgraded.

　　Her hands started to shake as she put the phone back into her handbag and took out her lipstick. She decided against touching up her makeup, dropping the lipstick back into the bag. Blue and red lights through the car windows alerted her to the arrival of the police. A moment later, the wail of an ambulance could be heard.

　　Alexei opened the limousine door. “Alright, Mirage?” He asked.

　　“All good,” she lied brightly.

　　“Police will want to speak to you,” he added.

　　“Alright.”
