บท 334: Arc 5, Chapter 28: Headfirst
Utter darkness of a shadow, with hints of glowing purple—all four of them were practically blind and felt almost frozen in place as eerie howls wisped past their ears. To Fumeko, this was all too familiar a feeling.
Purplish-black shadows materialized above a large square atrium where sofas and coffee tables sat by the edges. The scent of coffee and perfume wafted into their senses, just like the dim yellow lights.
Their blindness faded away in a near-instant. "THUD!" "OW… ughhh…" the bruised, battered and broken Jotou fell onto the second floor of the company building. She sobbed on the tiles, wishing she would just pass out from the pain already.
"Ahck!" Hotaru bit her own tongue as she fell onto the tiles at the entrance of the building; she fell right onto her still broken tail. She panted her pain out and rolled onto her stomach.

Eletro101 Heya! You might've noticed a few ciphers in recent chapters~ They're just something for fun, but in fear of it being overly difficult, I shall provide a hint!

Hint: The sentences/phrases of the cipher alternate between two different ciphers in a 1:2:1:2... series. Meaning, the first word in the cipher uses the 1st cipher, the second word uses the 2nd cipher, the third word uses the 1st cipher, the fourth word uses the 2nd cipher... and continues to alternate till the end of the entire phrase/cipher. Knowing that should help a bit in solving them!

In other news, I recently held a mini-mass release on the 27th. I should've clarified it was going on till the 28th. In a sense, it was a motivator for me to push myself to publish more frequently. I gave no amount of how many chapters, because I wanted to see how much I could do. In the end, it was 4 chapters and ~9000 words, which isn't too bad considering my recent publish rate. In any case, hopefully this is a sign of more frequent chapters updates from me going forward^^
