"What? Someone is trying to harm you!? Why are you just telling me now?" Suzanne, rather than worrying about her own safety, displayed concern for Damien and turned to face him.

Damien gently turned her away and reassured her, saying, "Please, don't worry about me. It's your safety that's at risk. You've been poisoned," he added, inquiring about who had given her the water.

Suzanne replied, "It was Giselle, but I find it hard to believe she would do something like this."

"I hold different beliefs than you," Damien expressed, relieved to see that her back had not been affected. The medicinal drink he had prepared had effectively halted the spread of the allergy to other parts of her body.

"Please, take out your hands from your sleeves," Damien urged, and she complied. Damien gently applied the delicate paste to both of her arms before sitting in front of her.
