Suzanne placed her hand on her forehead, the throbbing headache becoming increasingly intense. A silver bowl was offered to her, prompting her to raise her head.
"Have this," Damien recommended.
Suzanne accepted the bowl from him and cautiously took a sip. She grimaced at the unpleasant taste, her tongue even making a slight face of distaste. Nevertheless, she complied due to Damien's insistence.
Once the contents were finished, Damien retrieved the bowl from her grasp and gently set it down on the table.
"What happened to me? Fragments of memories are coming back," Suzanne stated with conviction.
"What's coming back to you?" Damien inquired, his curiosity piqued.
"I recall kissing you, and then you gently pulled away. Following that, my recollections become hazy. I apologize for my lack of composure last night," Suzanne admitted, her brows knitting together as she expressed her remorse.
She again lifted her head to meet his gaze. "Did I trouble you?" Suzanne asked.
