Andrew went behind his father after he heard that answer from him.
"Why does Father treat Charlotte like an outsider?" Andrew questioned and it made Christian stop again.
"Father would have punished his consorts if his son had been poisoned. However, Father decided not to act when his daughter-in-law battled for her life," Andrew stated.
Christian turned around while frowning at Andrew. "Because then it would have been treason. This was the last time, I forgave your mother and consort Ariane," he pronounced.
Inside, Beatrice heard their voices and she came out to check. She was stunned to find Andrew arguing with the King. She quickly went to her son's side and asked him to stay quiet.
"Your Majesty, forgive Prince Andrew for his insolent behavior." Beatrice quickly apologized since she didn't want to make Christian furious. He was already annoyed at her.
"Father, I always thought you were a great King. However, I was wrong," Andrew said with disappointment.
