บท 139: Welcome, Damien!

Cladded in a navy blue gown covered in white pearls around the neckline, Charlotte enchanted Édouard once again. She had put on the long elbow-length white gloves and her hair was tied in a bun with a few curls hanging down from the temples of her forehead down her cheeks. The small diamond tiara over her head completed her royal look.

Édouard was struck by her beauty. She would look pretty all the time to him, but she was looking gorgeous.

"Will the Prince keep staring at me?" Charlotte asked.

Édouard looked into her eyes and nodded at her. He forwarded his hand to her and she placed her hand on his. He brought her hand to his lips and kissed the back of her palm.

Charlotte smiled to see his gesture and she stood next to him. "We will be attending a royal feast after a long time," she said. Édouard took her hand in his and scooped it around his arm.

"Your family is also invited," Édouard said.
