Charlotte read the document by the time Édouard came out of the washroom. He found her reading those documents while wiping his face with the towel.
"What's this Édouard?" Charlotte had a limited understanding of politics, but after reading them, she realized that something wrong was happening with the peasants.
"A political matter," Édouard said and took the document from her hand. He placed it on the table and didn't bother to explain it.
"I read the peasants have been protesting lately. Will you go to see them?" Charlotte asked out of curiosity.
"I haven't decided yet," Édouard said.
"You should go to them and appease their anger. I read that high taxes is one of the reasons and nobility isn't ready to reduce it," Charlotte muttered.
"Ahh, yes," Édouard nodded. "I have yet to look into a few more things before taking a better decision," he stated.
