บท 208: She Couldn't Win Against The Two Men

Once they got home, Heisuke and Hisaki found that Mrs. Saeki was leisurely watching the afternoon drama. Aside from having a bandage wrapping around her left ankle, her complexion was generally good.

"Mom, how could you tell Shuuya to hide it from me?" Heisuke was exasperated but, he couldn't really be mad at his mother.

Mrs. Saeki waved her hand, looking disinterested, "Instead of nagging at me, it's better if you go wash up and sleep."

Heisuke was dumbfounded. Behind him, Hisaki burst out into laughter.

"Aunt Yasumi is right," Hisaki tugged at Heisuke's shirt, "We need a rest. Let's talk about this again later."

"But..." Heisuke was hesitant. His brows furrowed.

Hisaki was still patiently persuading her old man, "Your mom needs her rest too. Should we have tea time together later? We can cut the castella cakes we bought at the capital."

"...fine."
