At a certain building and a certain lobby which is slightly filled with students.
10 students to be exact.
Although not exactly big enough to cover even a third of the lobby they were still a lot considering the kind of class they are affiliated in.
The students were either sitting or standing while chatting with one another.
Some however prefer to be in the corner away from everyone else to do their own thing.
At the moment everyone was waiting for their first day of school to start.
It was 8 am right now and the start of their classes was exactly 9 am.
Just as they were waiting they heard a sound coming out of the left hallway.
-step step
coming out of the female dorms was a beautiful woman with greyish white hair and whitish yellow eyes.
Her steps carry elegance as she walks into the lobby.
For a brief moment the students all stopped what they're doing and looked at the arriving student.
especially the commoners who usually wouldn't see such sight.
It was understandable. after all the person they're looking at.
Was the 2nd princess and the 4th child of the current head of the human Domain.
Celes Altair.
as she arrived at the lobby a student stood up from his seat and casually made his way to the princess.
The student has a dignified but attractive face along with his blonde hair and deep dark blue eyes. He has broad shoulders and was quite tall considering his age.
Harris Steel
The current heir and a descendant of the hero who successfully sealed the demon king 513 years ago, With his bloodline becoming a renowned noble family with the title of a Duke.
he stopped at arm's reach in front of the princess before opening his mouth.
"It's nice to see you again princess Celes"
Her whitish yellow eyes looked up to his face.
"Harris you should know by now that we're all equal here at Stella class you should stop calling me princess and just call me by my name"
"I apologize Princess Celes, you not calling me with my title is understandable. However I'm not sure what you meant that all of us are..."
He paused for a second and glanced coldly at some of the individuals that were watching them.
He's Deep blue eyes especially focused on a male with obsidian black hair and has looks that rivaled his.
"...equal here"
Hearing this Celes smiled meaningfully.
"I wonder what you mean by that?"
"It's nothing princess Celes. I hope that we'll have a wonderful time for the next 5 years in this academy."
"I do hope that you'll call me by my name without my title next time but other than that. I look forward to being your classmate for the next 5 years"
just as they were wrapping up their conversation.
-step step
sounds of footsteps were heard from the male dorms and were gradually getting closer.
Celes and Harris turned their heads to observe their newly arrived classmate.
The other students were no different.
***
When I entered I felt like all the eyes were suddenly on me.
I didn't pay too much attention to this though, it's probably because it's the first day and they're probably just curious about their new arriving classmate, I would too if I were in their shoes.
What I didn't understand however was why one of the heroines was approaching me.
A woman with greyish white hair and has a beautiful face, with a gentle and calm expression.
Seeing her up close. I could say with certainty that she's much more beautiful Than when she's just an illustration.
Her movement came to a halt as she stopped in front of me.
"Your Ruthless King right?"
Her smooth and gentle voice rang in my ears.
"Hmm, Seeing as how you're not answering means that you're not really a talkative person, no?"
Her eyes that seemed to suck me in the more I looked at them became even more apparent.
"Well I hope we can have an interesting 5 years, Ruthless King"
She offers a handshake.
It was when she offered her hand that I noticed that there's something wrong.
'Uhh what am I doing? Focus Aiden your In front of someone.'
After forcing myself back to reality I shake her hands, it would be rude to the princess If I didn't after all.
The moment my hands came into contact with hers the immediate thing I noticed was that her hands are soft and warm... It feels... very good for some reason.
Well that's that I gotta retract it now the blonde dude or rather the soon to be best friend of the protagonist not so far from my position is staring daggers in my direction.
I withdrew my hand or at least tried to. But for some reason It wouldn't budge.
I tried giving more force to pull it back but it seemed to just not move at all.
briefly Looking at the princess she's still smiling gently as if nothing's going on, I then looked at my hand after.
normally if you wriggle your way out of a handshake you'd get out immediately.
Unless the other party is stopping you from doing so.
I looked at the princess again but she still had the same expression as before and then my hand again.
this persisted for at least 10 more awkward seconds before I finnaly got out of the handshake, No I was released, the princess was probably holding it for some unknown reason the question I have is why? and she's also fucking strong despite her hand being soft.
"I'm sorry, did I make you uncomfortable? I have a habit of taking a long time for a handshake you see and it's hard to get rid of it."
That was her explanation but Is that really the truth? Or am I thinking too much and it's really just a habit? Maybe it's because she's a princess? also how did she even know the nickname of this body? just what kind of things did the previous guy inhabiting this body to be known even by the princess?
I sat on one of the chairs in the lobby with those thoughts in my head.
The princess also silently moved to a seat near my other classmates initiating conversations with them.
Just like how my friends describe her, She's very friendly to others despite her having a higher social standing. I feel like I could put more faith in my friends' words because of this.
excluding the awkward moment with the princess there were a lot of things that caught my eyes when I was in the lobby.
Myra was just standing at the counter like a receptionist.
And that everyone has different hair colors from each other. It's like I'm looking at a rainbow or something.
Of course there isn't anything wrong with this, people on earth dyed their hair too.
They also looked good mainly because their attractive faces complimented their hair and vice versa so that cancels out my desire to just paint their hair black.
The 2nd thing noteworthy was that out of the 12 students present here. There's only four males including me.
That's like a 2:1 ratio but again I also don't have a problem with that.
The females would probably just admire the protagonist or something. half of his harem comes from the academy after all.
Interestingly enough, almost all of the spoilers that my friends told me all relate to the relationship of the protagonist and his 8 heroines, like how they met and other things relating to their relationship.
it isn't exactly useful If I'm being honest but You gotta work with what you have.
I'm also not exactly worried about what the ending of the story is. My friends told me it was a happy one.
What worried me the most was how the increase in strength of the antagonists that would appear affect the story.
There's also a matter of how I'm going to affect the plotline. If I had more information on what events are going to happen then I might have a more concrete plan on how I should act.
But in regards to that I'm just going to silently help the protagonist and never get close to anyone related to the story to at least have minimal effect on how the story would unfold.
Me being added here already means a lot was going to change and there's nothing I could really do about that. It's the price I have to pay to be of help to the protagonist.
Currently the protagonist was just talking with his other classmates.
Although I couldn't see his face because his face is not facing my direction, his looks are probably what you'd expect from a protagonist, very handsome.
Well that's obvious, If he's not then he won't be able to get the 8 heroines if he's just average looking, Unless the plot forced it to or the heroines fall in love with his personality, There's also the matter of him being strong too because he's the descendant of a forgotten hero.
What I have to prepare for now is the first event that will happen in two months time.
It's when the princess got kidnapped.
When I first heard this from my friends I thought that it was an absurd scenario.
I mean a princess getting kidnapped? What kind of force plot is this?
It's also the circumstances that made me think it was kind of forced because it happened at night when the Princess was alone which is absurd too.
the princess alone at night? I could not help but think that the princess was either dumb or the one that guards her is dumb for letting it happen.
But now those thoughts aren't important, I could use this event to request something from the princess If I successfully help the protagonist in saving her.
The things that I'll request aren't decided yet, it's still too early for me to think of that when I'm really weak right now, I also have to think about how strong I could be in just 2 months and If helping the protagonist is probable.
I massage my temples, I feel like I'm going to have a headache from thinking about what's to come.
ahh how stressful, If it weren't for the fact that the antagonists strength would increase then I would probably just wait those 9 years silently.
-SLAM!
"ATTENTION STUDENTS"
The students startled by this turned toward the source of the noise, I was no different.
The source of the noise was an adult with an intimidating expression near the counter where Myra is.
What kind of violent attention grabber is this?
"As your teacher isn't able to guide you right now because of some circumstances, I will be your current substitute"
"As you all know in order to get to the the class you are in now you only need to have one thing"
He paused for a second.
"A special ability"
"You can get admitted two years prior to this class, or you can get admitted a day before the class if you're known to have a special ability"
His eyes looked at me as he said so.
"So as per tradition, The 1st years first day of the Stella class, Students will fight each other to demonstrate your strength and your ability, the results of the fight will serve as a reflection for you to improve upon"
What? Did I just hear that right?
A tradition to fight each other on the first day of school? Really?
I looked around to see my classmates' reaction, but they didn't react much as if they knew this beforehand.
"That's all that'll say, Now get up of your seats and follow me we'll head to the schools stadium, the rules will also be explained to you there"
I… Feel like I'm going to get a beating on the first day of school.
"Oh and almost all of the student body will be watching so make sure to give it your best, Stella class"
Wow just wow, not only will I receive a beating but in front of the whole school too.
"Oh and also the headmaster of the school is going to watch so give it your utmost effort because this is a rare occurrence"
His eyes were once again in my direction after he said those words.
Why do I feel like I'm being pressured? This fucking…
The substitute teacher didn't even introduce himself and decided that I'm going to get fucked in front of the whole school.
Ahh the teacher is probably just doing their job, I should take out my anger on the one that created this fucking Dogshit tradition.
I got up from my seat and followed the substitute teacher with those thoughts in my mind.
I know that I said that I would release a next chapter later in the last chapter, But I didn't expect that that later would take at least 2 days:-: I'm sorry woof
