บท 16: Chapter 16
" I wonder what next year is going to be like, ha I can't wait." He thought not noticing the faint glow coming from an unopened present in the corner of the room. But just as quickly as it appeared it also disappeared.

(7 Years Later)
"Haa..haa...haa" Heavy breathing could be heard around a Brick wall, but it slowly slowed down to become a calm and steady breath.
{Chick, Crick}
The sound of a pistol being reloaded was heard followed by gunshots in the far distance.
{Bang, bang, bang}
The bullets were heading straight into the direction of the wall that the person was hiding behind. The bullets ricocheted and hit the wall but the person on the other side was safe for now.
" Ok, there should be around 10 enemies remaining, I have three magazines left including the one I reloaded, One Solar grenade, Two Ray Gun bullets, Two throwing knives, and 3 meters of invisible string. It's little but it should hold out, I can probably take on the rest of the goons but it's just that person I need to worry about."
The figure hearing the gunshots stop decided to risk a peak and leaned to the left of the wall to see the situation. But a sudden Gail of gunfire immediately pushed him back behind the wall. One of the bullets was even lucky enough to graze his left arm.
" Damn that stings, what to do, what to do, wait if I remember there should be a five-meter mall down that alleyway that leads to a parking lot. I'll have more of an advantage at close range than at far. I just need a distraction. I guess you will have to do little buddy." He said to the grenade he pulled out of his pocket.
"Okay on the count of three, one...two...three, Now. He threw the grenade over the wall and into the air. The grenade floated there for a good 3 seconds before exploding creating a torrent of flames in a ten-meter radius distracting and even scaring the other shooters.
"Nows my chance." Seeing the opportunity he quickly ran across the street to the alleyway. One of the shooters who wasn't really affected by the bomb or the sudden flash of light as they were hidden immediately saw Leon running across the street and lifted their gun to shoot, but when the person looked down their scope all they saw was Leon smiling while mothing the words, Bye bye.
{Bang}
Headshot. Without even looking and while running Leon had killed another enemy. Only 9 left to go.
Leon immediately saw the Wall and the parking lot and routed a map best fit to climb and reach the top the quickest. He did that in a matter of seconds. When he was 1 meter away from the wall he jumped onto a pile of creates then up onto the wall, using the friction he created he pushed up the wall and grabbed a finger fin ledge.
He managed to get a firm hold of it within fingers and used his upper body strength to push him up and grab a rusty metal Pipe, with a final push he got above the pipe and claimed over the wall and into the second level of the parking lot. Though he didn't stop there to take a break but immediately ran to the top floor. He could already hear the footsteps of multiple people coming inside.
Thankfully them entering created Echoes so he knew roughly where they were. It took him around 3 minutes to run from the 2nd floor to the 10th and final floor. When he made it to the top of the stairs he immediately took out his invisible wire and attached it to the door frame around the average adult's neck height. So the very first person to run forward, well he will know what Henry the eighths wives felt.
And exactly three minutes later they arrived, the first man immediately pushed the door open and ran through the wire, before he could react his head was already disjointed from his body.

3 men were now two. The second guy paused and stooped the one behind him seeing his comrade die. He took out a mini dagger and swiped the knife in the air.
{Ting}
The string was cut but not wanting to take any chances he immediately cut all around just to be safe. Seeing the coast was clear he signaled for the other gunner to stay just in case, the man moved forward ready to shoot if he saw any movement, but the moment he stepped out a shadow fell from the sky and stabbed the gunner in the head killing him instantly but just to make sure me Leon twisted the knife.
The gunner behind the door was shocked but immediately lifted his pistol and shot at Leon in a massive burst, Leon reacted quickly and twisted his body around the guy he had just killed and used his body as a meat shield.
{Click, click, click}
Leo Dropped the body once he heard the sound of an empty gun. Both Leon and the gunner looked at each other in silence before Leon took out his last dagger, the gunner did the same.
They were both still for a moment before Leon made the first move. Dashing at the gunner in a burst of speed he performed a downwards thrust straight to the gunner's chest but he blocked it with his knife. The gunner went straight for Leon's sternum not holding anything back but lean managed to catch the fist though he still felt the shock wave of the impact pass through his body. Not wanting to take any chances as a prolonged Knife fight would only be in the opponent's favor as the longer he stalled the more likely he would be surrounded and shot.
Leon jumped away before running at the gunner again, though this time instead of a head-on clash Leon at the last second slid under the gunner's opened legs and got behind him. Leon then did a beautiful sweep kick nocking the gunner down to the floor. He then thrust his knife into the gunner's wrist taking his knife out of the equation. Leon seeing the chance stabbed at the gunner's throat but unluckily they grabbed Leon's wrist and started pushing back, Leon not wanting to let go of the advantage, used almost all of his strength to push downwards.
Sadly even if Leon was way stronger than your average eight-year-old. He was still a child so the Adult gunner managed to push the knife away and kick Leon off of him.
{Offf, COUGH}
Leon felt the air escape his lungs which brought him out of it for a few seconds. The gunner quickly grabbed his knife with his good hand and stood up ready to kill the temporary out-of-commission Leon.
But as if God was on Leon's side, the Gunner accidentally fell and slipped on the puddle of his own blood falling straight down the stairs behind him

and snapping his neck in the process.
